The Oklahoma State Republican Party Certified Candidates

The Oklahoma Republican Party requires candidates to complete a certification survey. This year, the party took the process a step further.

According to the Oklahoma GOP, candidates could be denied certification if they:

• Were registered as a Democrat within the last five years,
• Donated to Democratic candidates or organizations, or
• Failed to answer at least 80% of the survey questions correctly from a Republican perspective.
